Elevator Casing (Trunk Sections)

Sku№:

The casing (trunk) of the bucket elevator is a galvanized, bolted steel structure reinforced with stiffening elements for strength and durability.

It typically consists of:

  1. Casing panels made of galvanized, stainless or painted sheet metal, with wear-resistant polyethylene liners at points exposed to abrasive material flow (optional)

  2. Modular sections – usually in lengths of 500 mm, 1000 mm, 1500 mm, or 2000 mm, assembled vertically to match the required elevator height

  3. Internal guides or rails (optional) – to stabilize the chain during operation

  4. Inspection hatches or service doors – for maintenance and cleaning access

  5. Flanged connections – for secure and sealed assembly between sections

The casing connects the boot (tensioning station) at the bottom with the head (drive station) at the top and serves as the main vertical housing through which the bucket belt or chain travels.
