Flat bottom silos

Flat-bottom silos are designed for long-term storage of large quantities of grain, offering high capacity per unit of storage area, active ventilation, process control, and integration with automated systems.

Main Features

Construction:

• Made of galvanized steel with anti-corrosion coating

• Diameters ranging from 3 m to 32 m

• Capacities from 36 m³ to over 25,000 m³, depending on the model

Roof:

• High-strength structure with reinforcing ribs

• Access hatches

• Roof ventilation via air vents or roof-mounted fans

Floor :

• Flat bottom with 100% floor ventilation capability

• Perforated panels for uniform aeration and/or cooling

Discharge:

• Discharge is performed using extracting machines – chain conveyors (redlers) or screw conveyors, with varying capacities depending on the specific setup

• Remaining grain after gravity discharge is removed using:

  • Sweep augers with capacities from 25 to 100 t/h

  • Sweep redlers with capacities from 25 to 200 t/h

• Central and additional (side) discharge outlets

Monitoring and Control:

• Temperature control system with temperature probes and sensors

• Level sensors – maximum high and low

• Integration capability with SCADA/PLC systems

Applications:

• Grain terminals and logistics centers

• Mills and feed production plants

• Warehouses for wheat, corn, barley, sunflower, and other crops
