U-trough screw conveyors

Trough-shaped screw conveyors are a special type of screw conveyors that use a U-shaped or trough-shaped design instead of a tubular one. They are widely used in industries such as agriculture, food processing, and mining.

Main characteristics:

• Construction: Made of painted, galvanized, or stainless steel, with bolted assembly for easy installation and maintenance.

• Drive system: Gear motor that can be connected directly to the shaft or via belt or chain drive. Upon request, screw conveyors can be manufactured without a gear motor—only with an electric motor and belt drive.

• Bearings: Special hanging bearings every 3 meters, which contribute to quiet operation and gentle handling of the product.

• Length and incline: Maximum length up to 12 meters, with the possibility of an incline up to 35°.

• Applications: Suitable for transporting grain, granules, flour, pellets, and other bulk materials.

  Trough-shaped screw conveyors are manufactured in a light-duty series – SU "AGRO", intended for less demanding work such as agricultural farms, small warehouses, etc., and a heavy-duty series – SU "INDUSTRIAL", intended for heavy-duty work in feed mills, industrial production, large commercial warehouses for grain and bulk products. In addition, the "INDUSTRIAL" series is distinguished by a special design that allows for easier and faster maintenance and repair when necessary.
